Career College Scholarships For Adult Learners
Take a few moments to review the application process for our scholarships to trade schools, career and technical colleges. You'll quickly see how simple it is to find out if you qualify for up to $1,000 in aid for your tuition and fees to one of our 550 partner schools. So many adults decide to change careers or finally get the job training they've been daydreaming about. Our career college partners work hard to make connections with employers in many areas, including:

Follow these simple steps to submit your scholarship for trade schools, career college or technical education programs today...
Step 1: Create your profile on our portal page: www.iafportal.org.
Step 2: Follow the prompts for creating your account.
Step 3: Once you’ve created your account, you’ll need to complete your profile before applying for a scholarship. Fill out your profile completely and save it.
Step 4: After you’ve successfully saved your profile, click on the tab “Apply for Scholarships” on the left-hand navigation.
Step 5: Under “Type” select ASEP for Adult Skills Education Program. Then find the school you wish to apply for by using the “Program of Interest” or the “State” search features.
Step 6: After you’ve selected your school, review the information and apply for the scholarship.
Step 7: To finish your application, you will need to complete the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Student Success Assessmentand watch the Financial Planning Made Simple (FPMS) video, which should automatically populate after submitting your application. If you do not have time to watch the FPMS video immediately after submitting your application, you can always log back in and watch it by selecting the “Video” tab in your left-hand navigation. After completing the video, select the red button that says “Submit and Complete.”
Step 8: Your application has now been sent to your career college for the school to review. Your college also will have received an email stating that you have applied for our scholarship. Please check in with your college to see that it has everything it needs from you. Once the school has decided, you will receive an email informing you about the scholarship decision.
