Why Go To School?

1. The Pay Difference

  • But for those with some college education or an associate’s degree, it climbs to $34,200.
  • Those with bachelor degrees will see incomes of $47,500 per year on average.
  • This jumps to $59,900 for those with a graduate or professional degree.

2. Experience

College offers something for everyone–from hands-on experience to more abstract forms of learning, colleges provide all sorts of opportunities. More colleges are incorporating work experience and internships into their curriculums these days too, which gives students yet another chance at applying what they learn in school under professional conditions while still in school.

3. Find Your Purpose

College is a wonderful place to find direction and purpose. You can explore your interests, create new relationships, and learn how to do something you’ve always wanted to do. Going to college may not always be easy but it’s worth it in the end.

4. Expand Your Career Options

College offers so many opportunities, but the most common benefits are the chance to explore your interests and expand your career options. The college experience will show you where your interests lie and help you decide which path to take with your future. Plus colleges offer opportunities for internships, co-ops, volunteer work, and more!
