Why earn an associate degree, diploma or certificate in business administration?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) offers lots of useful data for students considering business administration programs. Even though some of these fields require a bachelor’s degree for mid-level and management roles, there are many ways you can start your career before you’ve reached that educational goal. For instance, the minimum requirement for many administrative assistants when they start working is an associate degree or diploma. This is also true for some sales positions. Earning an associate degree or diploma in business administration can also give you a head start if you decide to continue to a bachelor’s or even a master’s degree in the future.

The first thing you need to do when requesting information is to ask what kinds of jobs graduates pursue with their business education. Career college advisers should be able to tell you which companies typically hire their graduates. And many of them will work with students and employers to make connections. After all, we only succeed — and your school only succeeds — if you successfully find a job when you complete their program.
