Application Process

If your son or daughter is interested in attending a career college, encourage him or her to apply for an Imagine America scholarship! Applying for an Imagine America scholarship is easy and only takes a few moments of time once the school has been decided upon and can make the career college experience more affordable. All applications must be completed online via the Imagine America web site.

Application Process

  1. Before applying, the student must first choose a career college. Click here to search by institution name.
  2. Participating career colleges are hyperlinked so that you can click on their names to submit an awards application. Click on a name to begin the application process.
  3. Review your completed application form to make sure all information is correct.
  4. To submit the application, select "Submit your application."
  5. Your application will be sent electronically to your career college choice.
  6. The application will be sent electronically to the designated guidance counselor or Imagine America contact at the student's high school. The contact will review and accept or deny the application. If approved, the application is sent electronically to the selected career college.
  7. The career college will then be prompted to automatically indicate via e-mail if an award is available. The student will then be prompted to confirm your acceptance. Note: At this time, the career college is e-mailed the student's application information. Acceptance is always conditionally based on the student's ability to meet the college's admissions requirements.
  8. Once accepted, an Imagine America certificate will be sent to the recipient.
  9. After you receive your certificate and letter, it is important that you now contact your career college and complete any pre-admissions testing and applications, if needed.
