Imagine America Foundation Receives Positive Results from Wonderlic Satisfaction Survey

Washington, D.C. (Aug. 3, 2010) – The best audience to judge whether or not a scholarship program delivers are the scholarship recipients themselves. Those students who’ve received financial aid assistance from the Imagine America Foundation (IAF) are more than pleased with the program’s outcome according to the results of a recent survey conducted by the esteemed research organization, Wonderlic.

Earlier this year, the Foundation teamed with Wonderlic to create an assessment to be distributed to the Foundation’s scholarship award winners. The survey’s goal was to measure recipients’ satisfaction with IAF’s scholarship programs. The Foundation has a commitment to continue their improvement of scholarship delivery and was confident in Wonderlic, with its 70-plus years of experience, to successfully execute this endeavor.

Recipients of all three award types for high school, adult and military students completed the questionnaires in May. The topics within the survey included application process, customer service, enrollment experience, overall satisfaction and open-ended comments. As the survey results have been calculated and analyzed, findings have shown a positive review for IAF.

Scholarship recipients expressed optimistic opinions of the application process. More than 94 percent said the application was easy to complete and 91 percent said the website was simple and provided helpful information. Students had similar responses with customer service, as most of them rated their experience as “good” or “excellent.” They were most pleased with the professionalism (93.3 percent), helpfulness (92.7 percent) and quality of response (91 percent) from the IAF representative.

“The Foundation takes an enormous amount of pride in our scholarship winners, and we feel the same way about the scholarship process itself and our level of customer service,” said Robert L. Martin, President of the Imagine America Foundation. “We will continue to survey our recipients to provide the highest level of service possible to applicants.”

Overall, the survey respondents were very satisfied with the service they received from IAF and 96.8 percent would recommend the Foundation scholarship program to a friend. The commentary section showed that recipients were most pleased with the ease and speed of the application process. Award recipients were also grateful for receiving the scholarship and expressed their appreciation of the IAF acknowledging the importance of making scholarships available to non-traditional students.

The overarching results of this survey indicate that students are content with the services of IAF and appreciate the opportunities they have been given. This information will assist the Foundation in continuing to develop what is already a beneficial program and to give award winners an even better experience.
