Imagine America Foundation Elects New Officers for Board of Directors
Washington, DC (July 22, 2008) - The Imagine America Foundation (IAF) today announced the appointment of three officers to its Board of Directors. The new appointments are new Chair Michael Platt, Vice Chair James R. Gessner and Treasurer Dennis Spisak. These officers will lead the board in guiding the research-and scholarship-providing arm for the career college sector throughout the 2008-2009 year as it continues to make vital contributions to postsecondary education and its students.
Michael Platt is the CEO of Adventure Interactive and founder of PlattForm Advertising. He has provided out-of-the-box marketing and advertising solutions for all types of learning institutions for nearly 20 years. Michael has been a member of IAF’s board since 2005.
James R. Gessner is the President of Duluth Business University and has been a member of IAF’s Board since 2005. James has been actively involved in postsecondary education for over 30 years.
Dennis Spisak is the VP of Sales, National Sales Manager, for the Career College Division of McGraw-Hill Higher Education. Dennis has been a member of IAF’s board since 2006.
