Imagine America Foundation Adds Three New Board Members
(Washington, D.C.) – The Imagine America Foundation has updated its board of directors, adding three new members to replace departing members:
Christopher M. Cimino
Mr. Cimino serves as Senior Vice President of Nelnet, Inc. He brings 18 years of experience in higher education, with expertise in publishing, online learning, technology and educational finance. In his leadership role, Mr. Cimino is responsible for the overall success of brand asset generation and sales across all of Nelnet, Inc.’s services and products within the career education market.
Mr. Cimino received his B.S. in Economics from Bentley University, a Master’s in Public Administration from Suffolk University Sawyer School of Management and his MBA from Bentley University McCallum Graduate School.
Patricia Kapper, Ed.D., of Forefront Education, Inc., grew up in a small town in northwestern Wisconsin and received her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She began her teaching career in Kenosha, WI, teaching high school and later at a technical college. Over time, she took on various administrative roles in the Wisconsin technical college system, the most recent being that of Dean of Business and Graphic Arts at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
In addition to her Bachelor’s degree, Ms. Kapper also holds an M.S.T. and an Ed.D. in Adult Education. These credentials prepared her for her role as Dean of Academic Affairs at DeVry. Institute of Technology in Addison, IL, and for her position of Sr. Vice President of Education at Career Education Corporation, a private for-profit system of 81 career colleges around the world.
Ms. Jameson brings her experience as Sr. Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer at Lincoln Educational Services to the boardroom. Her areas of expertise include Internet, e-mail and e-commerce marketing; media buying and placement; and brand identity and loyalty marketing among other talents.
Ms. Piper earned a B.S. in Marketing Business Management from University of Phoenix. Later she received an MBA in Leadership Institute Services from Arizona State University. She is currently studying for her Master’s in Strategic Communication & Leadership at Seton Hall University.
