At 19, Melissa Kranz has a clear path for her future. She strives to one day work in the Criminal Justice field, as a Crime Scene Investigator. As the first in her family to attend college, Melissa found guidance from her high school counselors.
Melissa chose Westwood College because of the small class sizes and the hands on experience. “Each teacher is very knowledgeable in his or her fields. They are or have been police officers, crime scene investigators,” Melissa said. “We are able to escape the classroom at times and explore the field of Criminal Justice by visiting the coroner’s office or going to the courts.”
“As the first person in my family to attend college, I feel it opens doors and sets new highs for the rest of my family who are up and coming,” Melissa said.
