In 2008, Military.com sponsored two Imagine America Foundation LDRSHIP Awards worth $10,000. A ceremony was held on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., and honored six outstanding individuals who had shown remarkable achievements throughout their careers as both students and soldiers in the U.S. military.
