Birth of the Career Training Foundation

In 1981, after the death of Jack F. Tolbert, president of NATTS from 1977 to 1979, the idea of the Career Training Foundation (CTF) was formed. CTF, now known as the Imagine America Foundation, served as a memorial to Tolbert's contributions to the industry and became an educational research and service foundation of NATTS. Research, training, instructor/staff development and training, distribution of research reports, and publishing were just some of the building blocks of the Foundation.
