Nelnet Makes Donation to Imagine America Foundation's Promise Scholarship Program

Dallas, Texas – June 7, 2011 – Today at APSCU, the Nelnet Foundation presented the Imagine America Foundation (IAF) with a $25,000 donation to provide scholarships to students who are pursuing degrees at career colleges nationwide. The donation will help fund the Promise Scholarship Program, which provides grants to students who show a strong dedication to their program of study through good grades and consistent attendance.

New site includes financial literacy, time management content

Imagine America Foundation Surpasses $1 Million in Promise Scholarships and LDRSHIP Awards

Washington, D.C. (June 2, 2011)  – In less than a decade, the Imagine America Foundation has managed to surpass the $1 million mark in total scholarship award amounts to students in its Promise Scholarship and LDRSHIP Award programs.

The Foundation, which has long held the moniker of the for-profit education sector’s largest provider of scholarships, achieved the monumental dollar figure for the two programs combined through the continual growth of its participating career colleges, its generous donors, and the evolution of its scholarship application process.
