Scholarship Program

Each year, up to 3 students from every high school in the United States and Puerto Rico can be selected to receive a $1,000 Imagine America scholarship! A national leader in scholarship and tuition assistance programs for those pursuing a career education, Imagine America has met with immense praise since it was launched in 1998. During its first year, the program received the Award of Excellence from the American Society of Association Executives. The following year, the same organization awarded the program with its Summit Award. This award honors organizations that "propel America forward with innovative projects in education, skills training, standards-setting, business and social innovation, knowledge creation, citizenship and community service."

The Imagine America scholarship program has enabled thousands of graduating high school students to afford to further their education. Graduating high school seniors who meet the program criteria are eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship that can be used at participating career colleges throughout the United States.

Scholarship Criteria

Applicants must:

• Show likelihood of successful completion of postsecondary education
• Earn a high school grade point average of 2.5 or greater
• Demonstrate financial need
• Volunteer for community service during senior year

Scholarship Deadlines

• Annual scholarship deadline is December 31
• Students may apply for scholarships beginning on January 1 each year

To enroll your career college in the Imagine America scholarship program, your college needs to be accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
