2010 Imagine America Foundation Golf Tournament



The Imagine America Foundation would like to thank Cengage Learning for their continued sponsorship of the annual Imagine America Foundation golf tournament! Additional thanks to Blackboard Pro Ed for their sponsorship of the golf luncheon. With the support of our sponsors, the golf tournament was a huge success with a record number of attendees.

Another sold out Imagine America Foundation event, included the 28th Annual Gala, sponsored by Datamark, ED MAP and Nelnet.  The Foundation would like to thank PlattForm Advertising for their production of the Pioneer Award and Brian Malarkey videos. Finally, thank you to guest speaker Brian Malarkey who also provided recipes for the cookbook gala gift.

Jack Larson’s contributions to the career education industry were recognized when the Imagine America Foundation presented him with one of their most prestigious honors.  During the Imagine America Foundation Gala at the annual Career College Association Convention in Las Vegas, NV, Larson graciously received the 2010 Pioneer Award from the Imagine America Foundation.

The annual Pioneer Award recognizes career college founders, owners or operators who have provided exceptional support and leadership to the career college sector.  Larson – Career Education Corporation founder, online education visionary, entrepreneur, friend and family man – is no exception.

Larson joins the ranks of previous Pioneer Awardees, who have distinguished themselves through the management of their institutions, their high ethical standards and devotion to innovation.
